Pictured here at Gipswijk Oosthaven, the recently arrived 612 unit.
About this creation
This is now incarnation 6 of my DB DMU, replacing the long lasting version 5.
Here the new unit is sitting on the line, at Gipswijk Docks. Its awaiting inspection prior to moving onto the passenger line to Centraal station
Leaving the dock complex. An actual 612 unit has its thick white stripe lower down but I needed to align mine with my doors, which in turn should be all white. If I did that, I'd never use the doors for anything else which'd be silly. In comparison with the actual train, this should be much longer and should have another door. There are quite likely other major differences too but I've likely not noticed them yet.
It looks quite rural here.
The freight line to the docks dissects the town from the beach.
I'd like to apologise for the severed head on the beach. My daughter is most insistent on decapitating as many minifigures as she can and I can't always hide evidence. Fortunately the lady in the foreground is more interested in her radio.
Finally, the train has made it onto the main line and into its Centraal Station for the first time.
Its at this point I feel the need to bare my soul and mention that the model is afew bricks short at the moment

I like your train, very unique, I like what you did with the front, your daughter is quite funny lol! when will you reshape the city buildings?
The buildings are being continually reshaped, sometimes thru misadventure (child interaction) and sometimes ongoing refurbishment, its an endless task, I strongly suspect you know exactly what I mean. Cities are never finished!!!!

Well done, I wish there would be an interior.
That is a reasonable request, it shouldn't be too difficult as its just an empty shell, and some of the roof panels have been designed to come off anyway. It wont be a top priority but it will happen!!!!
