Here is a basic liftaxle design that I have fitted to my logging truck (set no9397)
I have removed the wheels to show how I have made it.
The pivot point is through a 24T axle, which is fed from a worm gear via a 8T gear.
I have used two 2x4 liftarms, one is fixed onto the pivot axle, then the other is spaced over to allow the wheel axle better support.
This system differs from the 9397 B models system as this raises through a small arc, where as the B models raises the axles straight up, although as the lift is rather small it's not really noticable.
