About this creation
I put this picture together during the gluing process of my Fender Stratocaster. While gluing, the finished part of the guitar sat on my table and appeared to be embedded in ...or emerging from, the table top. I thought it looked pretty cool, so I took a few handfuls of brick and spread them around the base of the guitar. I'm pretty happy with the end result. I may leave the rest unglued for a while and display it like this.
I know that Sawaya, among others, have used this technique several times before, I decided that it was my turn. ;-)

We need this kind of creation... I play guitar, and after 20 years, music is an important passion in my life... i love the guitar, and this creation.
I've spent maybe 20 minutes of my life playing with guitars. After this project, I'm thinking I should pick one up and spend some REAL time with it! |
