I'm no fan of recycled marines, but this Iron Squad (which absolutely rocks by the way) would really fit the billet. Maybe just go with the straight Alien Conquest torsos? Do you have those? They are a combonation of Mandalorian battle packs and Alien defense sets.

I know dude you are so right. Hopefully Lego will come out with some theme with that color in that style of helmet. Even Dark or Light Grey would be cool.

my only word of advice for a battle scene would be have anti-aircraft fire prevent it from landing and drop the mech and troops from a couple feet off the ground, that would look so cool, them jumping the extra four feet off the ramp.

I'm getting influences from Aliens and a very strong Classic Space vibe from these designs, particularly the colour scheme. Excellent concept, executed brilliantly.

You are right about the colors. My weakness is lacking certain parts in certain colors. I didn't think I was going to finish with what I had. There were more ideas and details I wanted to put on but.... Well time will tell the tale in the future.

Really a top end spaceship. Hard to pick the stand out features; I like the little gun turrets, and obviously the mech.

This is incredible!!! I can't find a good word to describe it, but just beautiful! I wish I could make something like this... so detailed and full of exciting features! A stunning work.

Then its settled I will finish this up with a battle scene in a few months or so. getting ready to move soon, Gotta pack up the goods.

Thanx Tim. Took me over 6 months to build. Aprox weight 40-50 lbs. Length is about 3 feet long. maybe a half give or take. Overall she consumed almost all of my grey and blue peices.

Very nicely done! It has such a beastly look to it, and it looks like it could do quite a bit of damage. If you don't do a battle scene, at least make an awesome GIMPed picture of this thing flying in, guns blazing.

Of course you should make a battle scene with this ship! Color scheme, shape, interior details, and, of course, the minifigs are fantastic! One of the nicest ships I've seen in a long time; makes me want to build my own dropship! Dying to see this bad boy in action!

That is some ship. I love the overall shape and greebling. The weaponry is excellent, especially the plasma cannons. Great work on the cockpit as well. The seats are very unique and well done. How long is this beast?
