The mountains of Ered Luin. Immediately after the events in Episode 1.
About this creation
The young Dwarf is hiking down the mountain when he slips and falls at the feet of Liam R'Mala and Lothar.
Lothar: You know, I'm so glad I took that armor off. I know it was my father's but- Hey look at that.
They dismount and help the Dwarf to his feet.
Lothar: You look hurt. Are you alright?
Dwarf: I'm fine, thanks for the help.
Liam R'Mala: You look pretty small, what race are you?
Dwarf: I am a Dwarf, my name is Skargim.
Lothar: You're a Dwarf? Aren't Dwarves supposed to have beards?
Skargim: I am on my Beard Quest.
Liam R'Mala: Beard Quest?
Skargim: Yes, every Dwarf must go on a quest to earn his beard. My fath-
A new voice chimed in: Well, well, well, look at this Grunt; an elf, a man-child and a-a-a...
Skargim: I'm a Dwarf!
Orc: Dwarf? Where's your beard?
Grunt: Uh, Crand, shouldn't we raid them like we're supposed to?
Crand: Shut up you imbecile. Give us all your valuables and we won't hurt you!
Lothar: No!
Lothar and Liam R'Mala draw their swords and spring into action. Skargim draws his axe but hangs back a while.
Lothar and Liam are soon overpowered and their weapons thrown aside. Skargim is unseen by the Orcs.
Grunt prepares to kill Lothar when an axe flies toward him.
The axe hits the Orc, taking his arm off.
Crand moves toward Skargim but the Dwarf jumps toward the Orc, axe in hand.
The axe comes down, landing on the Orc's hand. Crand pulls his arm back and the hand is no more. He falls to the ground in pain.
Lothar and Liam get to their feet.
Crand: You'll pay for this Dwarf!
Crand jumps to his feet and runs away.
Lothar: That was amazing Skargim! You could be really useful in a fight. Would you care to join us?
Skargim: Where are you going?
Liam R'Mala: We are going to Rivendell, home of the Elves.
Skargim: I can't trust an Elf.
Lothar: We can help you earn your beard. And you can't make it to wherever you're going alone.
Skargim: I guess you're right. I will join with you.
The three companions mount their horses and set off on their journey.

Great story it is one my favourites! My character's name is Lemlar, his race is man, and his weapons are a greatsword. And maybe some heavy armour? |

No, I have never seen Eragon. I just thought that seeing as how Orcs are evil, they should have black blood. I am glad you like the series.
