Halo YSS-1000 Sabre
The UNSC Sabre was used during the Fall of Reach. It was designed for orbital defense and armed with two cannons and two Medusa missile pods.
About this creation
"As a soldier in the field I couldn't possibly have access to those kinds of resources. That said, a good place to look might be...I don't know, the nearest nonexistent launch site in the nonexistent Sabre Program, dismissed by three administrations as preposterous rumor... And in which our newest member was certainly never a pilot." -Catherine-B320

The UNSC YSS-1000 Sabre space fighter was designed for orbital defense and used during the Fall of Reach.

My LEGO version fits both pilot and copilot and is surprisingly swooshable. Don't worry, guys, I have plans for making the detachable booster rockets. That's how I want it displayed at Brickworld; I want it to look like it's in liftoff.

Quoting Captain H I like how you made the slightly tilted wingtips and the little T shaped thingy behind the window peice. Also, are those your spartan helmet molds? They look great!
The helmets are BrickForge Shock Trooper helmets (ODST helmets) in new colors, Dark Tan and Medium Azure (Alien Conquest blue).

Nice work, it looks great! It's a bit studded, but in most places that's unavoidable. Maybe some slopes could be used instead of the wedge plates. Be sure to take plenty of pictures of the launch system! :)

That is a pretty sweet MOC. I don't play Halo, so I can't speak to the accuracy of your build, but I love the overall shape of the ship. The cockpit looks great, but my favorite part is the engines. What did you use in the front there? Are those tires?

Agreed! The very slight tilt of the wing + engine section is ace! "Swooshability" will now and forever be among the standards by which I judge my own mocs.

You've integrated some pretty interesting angle into this. Very accurate, as always.
