The Periodic Bionicle Contest

The Fejarn Bird or ,Fejarn, as it is commonly called, is a species of flightless, bird-like Rahi. They can be found almost anywhere, whether it's outside a major city, or in the middle of nowhere.

These rahi are a gentle species, only ever attacking if provoked. Some Matoran have trained them to be pets. There's even a lucrative buisness that uses Fejarn as delivery birds.

These birds are born with a soft feather-like outer layer, made of pure iron, but as they age, the iron hardens, creating an armor-like structure over their body, head, and feet.

The beak of a Fejarn is as hard as their armor, and sometimes even sharp enough to pierce the light armor worn by most Matoran.

Because of the Fejarn's inablity to fly, they adapted to their enviroment, and are now one of the fastest species on land. They can be commonly seen running through the wilderness at high speeds, sometimes racing other Fejarn for territory.

Oh, what's this? It seems our little Fejarn has spotted something. I wonder what it could be.

Stryker: I'm doing great, especially with the new updates you've given me!

Stryker: I came to see what all the comotion over here was. And here I find this little thing. He's so adorable!
I don't think adorable is the right word, but whatever floats your boat.
Um, Stryker, I wouldn't be doing that.
Stryker: Oh, come on, what could this little guy d-

Stryker: OW!!!
That Little Blighter Bit Me!
I told you not to.

Stryker: That's It! It's Time For Some Grilled Chicken!
Actually it's not a chicken; it's a Fejarn. And I wouldn't do that if I wer-
Stryker: I don't care what it is! IT'S GONNA' BURN EITHER WAY!!!

Well... Um... yeah...
Somebody might want to check on Styker. Anybody? No? Eh, he'll be fine.

Fourth Wall:
Well, I'm back! Sorry about being gone for SOOOOO long. I was busy with school, my account on here got hacked(I had nothing to do with that, by the way), and I am REALLY lazy XP

This little guy was made in around an hour or so, and only uses 30 pieces(including the rubber band). He's a simple little creation, using a few nifty little techniques, including Nowhereman's leg design from his little tablescrap.

I hope I can make it to the next round. I wish luck to all the other entries.

It looks like a Kiwi! I think... but it is awesome! I wonder why a bird is named after a fruit... guess you can't really name an animal coconut... ah. Creative moc all around! Simpler look, and a great use of the nuva shoulder armor for the head.
