Poseidon is not dead! For those who asked, Poseidon is made of 25858 parts, without the chopper. I will redesign it later.
About this creation
My second attempt to have COMPLETE exploitable mounting instructions
You must know that by experience, on mounting such models, I wanted to avoid the most possible to have several mounting instructions for several parts, because I'll have to adjust them all! But The complete hull's mounting instruction are made without thinking to build it... A question of operation order...
Frank, I'm doing okay, my friend, enjoy! Poseidon could exist, one day!(I've got some Excell files, for all the parts)
In bonus, you can see again the interior of the hull, with the bow's big stock, the crew's quarter and its home cinema, the captain's room, the swiming pool, the toilets, the shower, the fully equipped kitchen, the nuclear room, the engine room, all separated by waterproof walls...

Hi jay :-) A while ago i came across this from another builder ->
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/341597
And thought it would be perfect if you wanted to add CIWS systems to your fine Poseidon - it is made in almost perfect minifig-scale! |

So very epic! I can only agree with the first comment here from Daniel, your Poseidon has got to be one of those very few huge-scale creations ever posted on MOCpages. This ship really deserves to win several awards - including a couple for large scale functionality, great construction ideas and fine detailing :-) Nice reactors by the way, with two of them on board there will be plenty of power! If the reactors use a heat exchange system in the cooling process you could use some of the warm secondary cooling water in the swimming pool ;-)
Many thanks for your kind comment, my friend! ^^ |

Coming along excellently. Had you ever considered gluing the outer hull so it'd be waterproof? It'd be epic if you could make this thing float. |

Good to see more of this monster, especially more of the interior. Will the interior be visible/accessible in the finished build? It would be a shame to hide all that work and detail! Keep going Jay, its great fun watching what promises to be one of the real highlights of MOCpages take shape - not to mention probably one of the heaviest ;p |

Jay, when this is all done, you should win an award for perseverance. All the effort that you have been going through with Poseidon makes me wonder if it will ever be worth it to make Ishii Castle out of real bricks. You'll have to let me know when this is all over if it was worth the effort. I hope that the finished product makes it as one of the top rated MOCs on the pages. As is your builder diaries are already some of the most popular digital MOCs around.
This goes directly to my heart, I fell in love with that ship! ; ) |
