Mark Murphy's First MOCiversary
Hello everyone! This is My First MOCiversary! As of Wednesday, April 18th, 2012 I will have been on MOCpages for a whole year! I have had much fun, many discussions and built many things in the year I have had here. Things from The Fellowship of The Brick, Star Wars Lego Creations, the TFOLPC, The Adventures of Olympus, The Lego Lord of the rings trilogy contest, and so much more. But let me further explain with the pictures:
About this creation

This was my first MOC. I made it for the LOTR Trilogy contest, a very good build for a first try.

This was the best scene in the MOC.

This was a creation I had made a long time ago and I just decided to post it.

These were all Minifigs I made for a history class, forgive me for the blurriness of the pictures.

Another thing I made. Also quite blurry.

These were my first 12 Olympians, after holding my contest however, I came up with those that follow.

Zeus

Hera

Poseidon

Hades

Apollo

Aphrodite

Ares

Hephaestus

Athena

Hermes

Artemis

Dionysus

Demeter, and Persephone (They still are not Olympians)

And Annie Corder who won the contest.

This was a MOC I made in hopes that I could start building Rivendell, that hope however died quite fast.

In an attempt to get a creation on the home page I tried putting some creations of my father's unfortunately they did not succeed. This is the Constellation

The Horizon

The Crusader

I finally came up with quite a joke which was called "Fool of a Took!"

This was my first creation on the Home-Page

A game was started by Yapdap called War. This was my sigfig for it, but that group also died after not too long.

I felt like making Perseus and it turned out quite nicely.

My (Still) Most popular MOC, This was my entry for the Overdone mini-figure contest.

I was able to fit 133 accessories on one figure.

My entry for the Narnia contest (Which never ended up finishing)

Another random LOTR MOC I felt like using my Lego Elephant so I made this.

Maybe my most random MOC, but it was simple and I really had fun just putting it on.

This was a MOC just for showing off my Animal collection.

My First Fellowship of the Ring. I liked it a lot, and though it is a decent fellowship I was able to improve it and make it:

This.

I made Tom Bombadil with the second fellowship, just because I could.

My Lord of the Rings Sifgig: Suiauthon.

Another figure I made. His name is Lithônion

This was my entry for The Return of The King part of the LOTR Trilogy contest.

I think I am quite good at Microscale.

One of my favorite scenes in Lord of The Rings, The Falls of Nimrodel which was unfortunately taken out in the movies.

The top of the 5 Most Terrifying Creature in Middle-Earth: Elrond.

In December I made MOCs for each day of advent this was my favorite.

And Now, My famous CYOA The Adventures of Olympus.

My original episodes were not very good for the build, or the pictures, but my story held for the first season.

Those who were in this or followed it remember each of these moments quite well.

By Season two the picture quality improved greatly, and I started to work on my builds more.

I also had Aidan Moon build some of my MOCs for the episodes such as in this one.

I'm sure at least Bailey, Aidan, Matthew, Josh, and Annie remember this.

The Third season (Which is still going) has been just as good (if not better) as the second one.

This was my First entry in the MOColympics.

I did not end up making it into the second round of The MO but I did win with this modek in the MIT

This entry to the MIT was my first (and so far only) MOC using flesh figures. I however did not succeed in making it to the third round of the MIT

These next 3 build were entries to the MOCathalon all got decent scores though I think at least Persephone should have gotten a better score.

This is a picture of my Sigfig when I went to Legoland.

And now My main attraction of my MOCiversary:

The House of Tom Bombadil!

The House of Tom Bombadil was not in The LOTR movies, but has always been one of my favorite scenes. This build took almost every brown brick and flower stem I have so enjoy!

I just love my Hobbit sitting technique.

The four Hobbits

Goldberry and Tom Bombadil

Before I finish, there are a few people I need to thank.

Michael Kringe: He has been the best friends online that anyone could hope to have (Though his love of Dwarves can get annoying)and he has helped me in many ways with my building, but most importantly runs the Fellowship of The Brick which has had more impact on me than any other group.

Aidan Moon: He introduced me to MOCpages and we know each other in person. He has helped with my Adventures of Olympus and has helped my building improve immensely.

Annie Corder: Was the most enthusiastic person in my first contest and has stayed active and faithful throughout my Adventures of Olympus.

Ian Spacek: a fantastic builder, he was the person who introduced me to MOCpages contests with his LOTR Trilogy Contest.

Josh O: Another person in my Adventures of Olympus, he is also a Christian and has been very kind to me.

Mr. Viking: Another annoying Dwarf lover, but a good friend and a person whom I have a fair amount of respect.

The Russ brothers: Armon, Calvin, and Daniel Russ have been very supportive in my Adventures of Olympus and always come up with interesting ideas for choices.

Christopher Baldacci: He is a great builder and held a very good contest, though he says I'm an over critical judge (Imagine that!)

Also:

Patrick Lowe

Thomas .

William .

Thank you all so much for a great first year!

~Mark

Wow Mark, this is quite amazing how successful and popular you are, considering you've only been on the Pages for little over one year, you've got to be one of the most successful builders on the Pages! As one of my favourite builders, I enjoy looking at all of your creations, and admiring your unique but thoughtful techniques. Congratulations, and hope you have a great next year! - Caleb
