I joined very very late into the contest, I'm sorry if I'm too late. This is my entry in the category Arctic.
About this creation

Basically in a nutshell, The Artic hero should be designed to track down any villains hiding in the ice (i.e, Speeda Demon) so should be resistant to the cold. DANG this was a stressful build :P

Backside

Legs, fitted with fully insulated boots.

Body. Looks simple enough, but looks can be decieving...

...But The beuty is underneath the chest piece. This was the meanest part of the build.

Right Arm has been replaced with a flamethrower. Not ment to look exactly like a flamethrower (Heck, I'm no weapons expert) but is ment to be a divice that shoots flames.

left arm with an insulated glove, to give Villains a left hook they'll never forget!

Head. Looks simple enough...

...and it is really simple :P oh well, it was a good try at a custom head :p

This backpack pumps hot air into Icebreaker's back to keep him warm (They are not Jetpacks)

o yer!

Using his Flamethrower

holding out hand.

with Furno, the closest small HF set i could find

With Furno, the closest medium sised set i could find

With Voodoo, the closest large HF moc i could find

I think i might finish all posts with this Window shot :P
That's all, hope I didn't make things unconfortable with my late arrival :)

This gets 4 points for category (flamethrower design is nice, tanks were a good idea), 4 points for build (torso is very awesome) and 2.5 for color scheme (sorry, he was really mostly white). Good luck! |

I deleted the group and cancelled the story. Sorry 'bout that. (old comment I know but I just saw it.) |

Nice entry, that torso is great! I think it looks a bit more white than dark green, but he's still really nice. Why was it so stressful?
It was stressful for a number of reasons: Firstly, I was aware of my compatition, so i tried to do the best i could, secondly, I'd never attempted a custom Hero before, so i didn't know how to go about it, I went out with my friends earlier on in the day so i was building this quite late in the day, i couldn't find the right parts, and i didn't know what the other builders would think about me randomly jumping in mid contest, so i was in a bit of a panic. Thanks for the comment :) |

Yeah, I'm not the judge, but I don't think that the primary color on that MOC is dark green. it actually appears about 70% white.
Yup, I had noticed that, but I wanted to have a colour code thing, the white parts were the adapted parts, and It was tricky to make a dark green HF moc, seeming as the closest thing they have to green is lime (I do not have the green lantern ultrabuild) |

good work. artic adapted in the contest are rare: i think there's only you and me that did one. And for the custom head, just a little trick to make it look like a real one: the place where you attach the mask must be at the same height then the place where you attach the head on the body( for you, it was the ball joint with no borohk eye on it) and the eye, only a socket upper then the rest. But yours is pretty good. only the neck is a little high. But it could fit my self moc.
ok, thanks for your advice :) |
