First, fantastic ship. Like Chris said, it has that Space 1999 feel. However, (and I feel like a jerk saying this because you are a way better builder) I think labeling it a "starfighter" doesn't really jibe. It has more of an exploration or scientific ship or possibly and carrier, but not really a fighter feel. FWIW

I too am old enough to remember Space 1999, and there is a definite link, I think it's the white girders. The green cockpit is a nice colour contrast with the white.
