Gungan Conga Submarine

Built March 2012 for LEGOLAND California's Star Wars Days (March 31-April 1).
About this creation
The Conga, a submersible contructed by the peaceful Gungans, was used as personal transportation for trips through Naboo's dangerous core. Its propulsion came from two tentacle-like propellers and, in fishy emergencies, a hydrogen rocket. The sub also had the unique ability of transforming into a Kaadu herder of sorts (last few pics).














The sub's intakes fold down to form landing gear.

The harpoons are there just in case there's a "bigger fish".
