About this creation
My entry to the Hero Factory: Gear Up contest in the ‘Speed’ category.
Name: Jimmy Mazda
Gender: Male programming
Equipment: Wheeled feet, multi-purpose hand-held wheels.
Background: Jimmy Mazda was an ordinary hero until he was called to try a new type of experimental hero core that provided more power than a normal hero frame could handle. He was outfitted with new armour, had his feet replaced with wheels, and had the core embedded in him. His new modifications allowed him to drive faster than any other hero had gone before. He was also able to control how much was power he was using, allowing the extra horsepower to kick in only when he needed it. His upgrades made him instrumental in capturing villains that were too quick for their own good in the Breakout. He now patrols highways.
Now, onto the MOC itself!

The Front.

The Back.

I added armour in front of the tires.

This armour can be moved up. I'll explain why later.

J: What's up with these wheels I carry, you might ask?

J: Well, I can use them as fans to go faster...

J: I can take corners quicker...

J: and I can use them as weapons! Trust me, it hurts when you get hit by spinning tires

J: I can also assume a four wheeled form of movement, which is more stable and allows me to go even quicker!(The leg armour moves up, so that they do not scrape along the ground.)
VROOOM!!

A comparison between Jimmy Mazda and Bulk 3.0

And another comparison between both heroes and Polsuris.

J: Bye! Come again! Please rate and comment!
Creator's notes:
Well, this is my first build specifically for a contest, and I must say, I found the challenge of a deadline particularly enjoyable. The build itself is smaller and different from what I wanted, but meh, whatever. Hopefully I can get through to the next round :)
Fun Fact: I was gonna call him Rick Roll, but my better judgement prevented me from doing so ;)

I like this little guy, he's pretty fun for a tire foot hero. An I've had to catch a runaway tire once, not fun at ALL! So I would personally know how much it hurts. An Mazda for a last name fits for such a compact hero ^_^ My only point against you, sadly, is the similar resemblance to the Johinny Whisk entry in looks.
Glad you enjoyed it! The youtube video was a bit random though... About Legofreak's entry, I know it looks similar because of the mask and size, but to be honest I was more inspired by Darren Y's entry, Dax Cursar. Plus, I got more dark green pieces than blue or tan, and that's the only dark green mask I got (for now). So any resemblance is purely coincidental. ;) |

Nice I think this one might go to the next round (although I can't say for sure) but next time try a little bigger. P.S. Rick roll lol! is it ok if I use tha for some other hero that I may or may not make?
I actually wanted to make it bigger, but after making the feet I knew that wasn't gonna happen. Oh well. Next time. And sure, you can use Rick Roll as a name. That's why I put it there! :) |
