Post-Apoc Buggy
This is my last post-apoc build for a while. It completes my set of four for the post-apoc vehicle competition. Across the Mocs I've built I think I've found a style for my own particular post apocalyptic world; its more Mad Max than Fallout I think. The engine on this model, made as it is from half a classic castle treasure chest (I don't have the other half) was a piece I never expected to deploy. The technic gear shafts used for the roll cage was a neat solution to some of the angle problems I had.

Quoting Grant Brenton I am just getting my first taste of this genre here but from what I can see the genre is an interesting one and you seem to have captured it nicely. I like the apparent rough durability of this creation. Very cool. And Tim C is right, your character does look like he could survive the apocolypse. Hahah he sorta looks like a redneck farmer I think.
I'm pretty new to the genre as well. There seems to be two ways to go: tough serviceable vehicles built from scraps (my choice) or run-down and modified pre-apocalypse vehicles. Glad you like it.

Quoting Tim C Well done, David. I'm with Jon, this is your best post-apoc yet. I love the launcher and the roll cage. The huge wheels really set it off. But I also like your fig. He looks like he would survive the end of the world.
I've given him the nickname 'Post Man', hence the letter dungarees. I had the idea of him operating as a high risk courier.

Quoting Senator Chinchilla . Lol, cool buggy! Nice parts usage. I bet you can't wait to get more bricks. And they'll smell of potatoes! =D
Yep I can almost smell those potatoes... I mean pieces.

Quoting Jon B The best in the series I think, nicely done! Excellent parts usage as always, and you've really packed the detail in on this one. The launcher is excellent, and your solution for the roll cage is spot on. Any more nice parcels from you Mum pending? Looking forward to what you create as your collection grows, but please keep the unique style and parts usage going!
D-day for the parts is 1 June. I'm heading up for my Mum's wedding, and will be picking up the potato sack of bricks. I have some big plans in mind.
