I used the tank tracks from the Tie crawler/bat tank. 1x4 plates fit over them perfectly, but sometimes aren't very snug. I used the same techniques here. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=438130

Hi there, I am building a ship of my own and was wondering how you achieved the curve on your serenity firefly's engines. I am interested in the smaller scaled one. What hinges did you use if you don't mind sharing?

This is the best Serenity Lego model out there... as someone else has said, I hope this passes the CUUSOO review! The production version would be pricey but worth it!

Nicely done! Serenity is a complex ship but you've managed to really capture it very well. I'm quite envious of your ability. if you have a moment, can you give me some advice on my Serenity-inspired light freighter "The Flying Rhino." I would greatly appreciate it.

Quoting Mark Kelso A fine tribute to one of the best Sci-Fi series ever created. When you're ready to disassemble it, let me know...I'll join you as we march into the office of Rupert Murdoch (responsible for the show's cancellation) and smash it over his head!!!
Thank you, coming from you, that means a lot to me. And I'll remember your generous offer.

I think I've seen this before elsewhere on the internet. It looks great! Very cool. and faithful to the original. If this is the same one I've seen before, the lighting effects are also awesome.

Nice work! This ship actually made a cameo appearance in BSG, flying around Caprica City. Anyway, some great features, very accurate to the original.

Very nice. I have to admit...this is my dream build. I've been toying with various techniques for the aft section, and the unique angles for literally years. You did a wonderful job of capturing those difficult elements, and created a very convincing model. A fine tribute to one of the best Sci-Fi series ever created. When you're ready to disassemble it, let me know...I'll join you as we march into the office of Rupert Murdoch (responsible for the show's cancellation) and smash it over his head!!!

Excellent! I tried to build one of these some time ago and it was a fail. You have the angles and proportions pretty well dead on. Great Job!!!

Love the series, love the movie, and love this ship. This is an excellent version of Serenity. I'm sure this wasn't an easy ship to build. The angles and design look very accurate.
