I present to you, my CAT tracked skidsteer, or if you prefer, CAT 257B multi-terrian loader. Yes that is the official name. It is not the largest one CAT makes. They make a 297C. This is your basic skidsteer, but with tracks. The real ones have rubber tracks, so they can be driven on the road. This is one of the most versatile pieces of equipment there is. There are hundreds of attachments from snow blowers, to mowers, street sweepers, to buckets.
Fast facts:
CAT C3.4 DIT engine produces 71hp
Top speed 6.9mph
Video:
Here is the frame before I put the cab and bucket on.
Two pictures of the "inner workings"
PF parts
1 XL motor drive for each track
1 m motor for lift geared down to worm gear drive
2 pneumatic rams for dump
You may ask why I geared the lift down to worm gear drive, well I wanted this to have some power, and worm gear provides lots of power.
I even included the CAT logo on the back

Bucket up all the way.
Bucket dumped.
Picture from the inside as per the operator view.
Picture of the interior. One cool fact, CAT has only two joysticks to control the drive, bucket and attachments. No foot peddles here!
So the switches weren't supposed to go there, but the motor cords would not reach the receivers, so I decided to make the most of my "extension cords"
With the bucket dumped, and arm all the way down, it can lift the front part of the track off the ground.
I'm quoting this like this because I can't quote. None taken, where I was the camera man, and operator, it was hard to do both. I also threw the video together in 30min before work. It's not my best quality. Thanks for commenting. My quote: Weren't you a cameraman? I can see that, but I'm talking about the camera's video recording quality.

Hey George, no offense, but your video quality is , well, not all that groovy. The picture quality is excelent. Good work.

George, this is off the hook, the design is clean, the details, like the posterior emblems, and roll cage are perfect, and the interior controls and coloring are perfect as well, this is definitely one of your best! Chris

Wonderful George! I love the look of it! Very nice multiterrain steer! I just think you have one minor flaw. The flaw is when the arm moves up its really slow. Other than that it's wonderul! 5/5
