"When Seino left to fight his war, he thought he would easily conquer the drones. He believed they would stop attacking the Survivors and in turn, left us little to defend ourselves."
About this creation

When General Seino moved into the Urban Sector on his campaign to retake it, he took nearly all of the SPA's available Trisan AEGAKS (not yet released) with him, leaving a skeleton army and the civilian police to fend off the attacking drones. Left with only Gosans, and with half of the Exo Force accompanying Seino on his doomed campaign, the defenders stood little chance.

The Sentai Provincial Council called upon Kenichi, creator of the AEGAKS, to provide them with an alternative, especially for the police, who lacked the training to operate the aged Gosans. Kenichi accepted and created the Sarkas, a very heavily armored AEGAKS that is easily piloted by civilians.

Equipped to deal with both civil disturbances, and drone assaults, the Sarkas is equipped with a large, heavy riot shield. But not stopping there, Kenichi designed the shield with a razor edge, and a servo to split the shield into a long melee blade, making the Sarkas a very dangerous close range fighter.

For ranged combat, the Sarkas is usually equipped with a shotgun. While the shotgun is very efficient for doling out close range punishment to drones, it also doubles as a riot suppression tool, as the shells can be exchanged with rubber pellet shot. This shot is low powered enough not to injure protestors, but enough to stop them in their tracks.

As with all AEGAKS, the pilot block is ejectable as is the powercell. Additionally, each shoulder features a quad grenade launcher that can be equipped with smoke or tear gas. These are very useful for obscuring the drones visual sensors, or for dealing with really persistant rioters.

While the shotgun can be fired single handed, it's highly unadvisable.

The Sarkas is designed for untrained police officers, and as such, the nueral interface is actually not as powerful as the Gosan's. In it's place, as secondary nueral system corelates data with the first system. It only works with low level systems, but it can perform as well as the Gosans.

A series of photos to demonstrate how effectviely the frame can handle melee combat. The M frame is extremely flexible for its construction, though I've never really demonstrated the poseability.
CREATOR'S NOTES:
So this is one of my favorites, because of the shield, and overall appearance.
AS you may have noticed, this is indeed built from the Geras. Since the Geras was not a Canon build, I decided to convert it into something Canon.
With this, I am only left with building Tsubaki's AEGAKS, and the mass produced version of the Arkhams, the Trisan.

That is surely the prettiest mech I've seen in a long time. The shield was already impressive - and then it hinged open and just got better! Nice work indeed.
Thank you. This on is a personal favorite of mine, mostly for the shield. |

I thought I had commented on this but I'm not sure if it's MOCpages or just my so-called brain playing tricks on me again! Either way It's good to see new AEGAKS designs from you. I also like the battle shield for that up-close and personal touch. One more thing, I have my new AEGAKS complete. Now I need to take the pics and write the story!
I can't wait to see it! I look foreward to it immensely. Unfortunately, I am broke yet again, and I need more parts, so there won't be anything for a while. |

Great build, very 'policey' :)
Thanks. I was worried at first that it looked odd, as the heavier armor on the smaller frame, but it turned out nicely I think. Something like the Dominion Tank Police, perhaps? |

Where's my comment? I know I've checked this awesome Mech before. Total win either way. So does your story line envisage worlds filled with Mech battlefields and the like or are they a rarity? Just curious...
At the point that I'm working, it's just on the remnant of Earth. Later on, it does expand into space, but I haven't really thought about that much. |

Very nice color scheme and I'm also loving that shield! One question though, what Bricklink store do you get your Exo-force peices from? I'm in the middle of building a AEGAKS and don't really have the right pieces.
Thanks :)
Aside from having bought some of the sets during their production, I have acquired all the parts and stickers from seperate vendors. Like our mamma's like to say, "You gotta shop around!" |

Awesome build man! Though I have to ask, was the riot shield inspired by the folding blade from my Cerunnos Kaiser? whether it was or not, its still pretty neat.
Actually no, it wasn't. It was actually based off an idea I had intended for Little Blue, until I replaced it with the round shield. |

It's even more awesome than when I saw it the first time. The shield is the best part of this unit and the color scheme is FTW. Another hit, undoubtely. |

Nuts. Here I thought I was caught up on moc's from my absence from the pages. Oh well, not like it's a pain to see one more. Plus is something I like seeing, police vehicles, and this one is great! |
