The Scunner is an armored personnel carrier and command unit that has been in service with the New Caledonian ground forces for well over seventy years. Scunner is a Scottish word that means "sickener" or "cause disgust/fear/revulsion". There is nothing pretty about the APC -- but then it was not designed for aesthetics but for duty.

About this creation

Armed with twin projectile cannon, a top shelf electronic warfare and scan package and top mounted large mortar launchers, the Scunner is well suited for its mission parameters.

The driver and platoon Lieutenant are located at the front. Seating and weapons stowage for the eight member infantry unit take up the majority of the room in this APC.

The APC is the platoon C3 unit and coupled with the eight man infantry units, the ATV mounted infantry and a mech, this constitutes the standard platoon.
