You are what you eat
About this creation
2012 MocAthalon
Team Jigsaw

Category: Ovids Metamorphose
Team: Team Jigsaw

Meet John. John's deciding between meat or vegetables. When you eat meat, you need to kill an innocent animal. You're not really killing vegetables when you eat them.

Vegetables it is then. Yum!

Nobody ever thinks about the innocent vegetables.

Suddenly, John notices that his stomach isn't agreeing with him. He feels a bit strange.

Nobody ever thinks about the innocent vegetables.

Maybe there was something funny in the salad?

And now the vegetables have risen, out for revenge!

Commentary:

This build was really fun and crazy, and originally spawned from a late night conversation early in the month with Fellow Jigsaw member Lego Junkie. I'm not sure what we were meant to be discussing, but we came to the topic of giant carrots and I decided to build one (the final stage carrot). At first we had no idea what to do with it, until we realized that it could fit perfectly with this category. My other teammates tell me that there is no moral in this story that I've presented, but I maintain that there could be. I like to think that it ties in with Lego Junkie's Apocalypse MOCathalon entry.

ALL the stages of were-carrot transformation!

I wouldn't listen to Blake too much. At this point I'm starting to believe he performs some sort of "scraping" every day as a hobby. :/ Score= 5

Quoting Strakk The Glatorian Epicness!! Do those root legs hold him?
If balanced well, the carrot can stand on just the 4 legs, but the two brown roots are there for additional support so that the legs can be in a wider range of positions.
Quoting LukeSC Overlord This is AWSOME! That is one killer carrot. How did you make the floor for the kitchen/room?
White, Black, Green and Brown 4L axles, hence the thick bases.
