Heartlake Castle has long abandoned its roots as a defensive structure, and now serves strictly as an ornamental palace. Out in the palace gardens is a pavilion used to host various royal functions. Today Princess Mia, animal lover and vegetarian, is throwing a luncheon for all her best friends. The friends raise their glasses (containing strawberry pomegranate smoothies) in a toast to friendship.



Princess Mia's friends love all the animals that usually surround the Princess.





Ladybugs and butterflies love the flowers, and the girls love the ladybugs and butterflies.




There are even butterflies flitting around on the flower-covered trellis.



The only animals that don't always feel welcome are the occasional rats that try to steal food from the royal feasts. Princess Mia's cats always keep them in line.

It IS at a modern day palace. It's at Heartlake Castle, in the current day, as said in the description. Castle doesn't have to JUST be medieval stuff.

WOW! I have been trying to get my fiance into Lego for sometime, I bought the entire Friends range for her so she could start small and build her way up. She now enjoys the building and even wants to try some free builds after completing the last 3 sets.
