I've stretched the category rules a lot so far, but this has to be the biggest gamble. I say that any creation posted on MocPages is a MOC, I just hope the judges agree.
Now I don't know if this part would actually count, but the mini-Eye would be a little too bland all by itself...
...plus, I just like this scene. So I thought it would be fun to replicate it.
Of course I GIMPed it in, it was too large compared to a minifig.
And here is the mini-Eye by itself.
Over-head. It's only half a ship, not very detailed, and I didn't name it after a Bungie/343 employee, so I'm not going to count it in with the other ships I've done.
Here's the most recent Construction Journal for the real Eye of Chaos, we're all eagerly awaiting it's completion.
I've had a great time this year, I pumped out four entries and my team has kept the lead for the majority of the month. So I thank the competition, the spectators, and the judges (who put forth a LOT of time to do this).
You are pushing it a bit, but you went all the way....to include the TV, shelving, etc. It takes guts to try something new in a contest, and I commend that. Plus your mini Chaos is sharp. Wouldn't it have been funny if Mark lost his balance and fell onto it?! I would've laughed. Score= 4
Yeap, you pushed the category a bit on this one. But I gotta give credit where credit's due, that's funny! Still just enough out of category to lose some pointage (gotta play fair ya know). Score of 3 ~ Chris.
