Watch Tower and Mini-Ranger
This Watch Tower compliments my Refinery Way-Station. Built to classic space specifications, with an open wall for maximum playability and replete with a mini-vehicle, this was created with nostalgia in mind. Oh, and also to see if I could incorporate the classic castle wall pieces.
About this creation

Here are a few images of the interior area designed with play in mind.

And a few images of the Mini-Ranger on its own.

Another cool model in the classic space look. Great details and it looks very playable! Smart use of the classic castle walls! Great job! :-))

Quoting Fell Skyhawk Woa, brings one back to the classic LEGO style and brand. Very well executed, and I would give it a 6/5 just for invoking that nostalgic feeling.
Thanks so much. I glad you like it. I've been working on my refinery range to which this belongs to, for the last month or so. The idea being the creation of a classic space style, that could have been but never was. If I've piqued some nostalgia, I consider it a good job done.

Quoting Brody Allen Good Classic Build. Really nice retro vehicle. I like the way you incorporated the castle wall in the station. I got back into the same as you via my Mom finding my old sets. Having kids like you makes it hard to find time or justify spending money on "toys" for yourself. I bought some stuff from craigslist to get some newer pieces and update my collection without breaking the bank. I think some people take it for granted that we need to make the best out of what we have and often times it takes more creativity and interesting mixing of genres and parts to get a desired look. Bigger isnít always better in my mind. I have really been enjoying your stuff keep up the great work.
Thanks for the comment. It's very true, when you have children, money just vanishes. I hope people when they drop by notice all my mocs use the same pieces, and that part of their charm comes from this.
