Vanishing Eden
About this creation
Team: Acid Imperious!
For the 2012 Mocathalon category number 23. Vanishing Eden
Create a MOC that touches on environmental consciousness. Pick a life form or location from anywhere in the world that is threatened, and do a MOC that raises awareness.

Here is a poor little beaver starving in a trap.

I think my descriptions are getting much shorter as the games go on. I had fun with this build. The trees were an idea I had for a while and throwing in forced perspective allowed me to not build the entire setting in jumbo scale.

Nice tree (again)! The trap and the beaver look great too. Well...the beaver could be looking a little better, I mean being trapped isn't exactly ideal for getting ones picture taken. "I'm just going to stick your head into these steel claws here...little further...*SNAP, CRACK* Okay good. Smile!" ;)

Beavers are white?! Tree is cool, but your proportions are off way too much and it's distracting. Score= 3

That, my fellow MOCer, is possibly one of the best trees I've every seen that has been made out of lego. How did you do that? It looks awesome!

Awwwww... poor witttle beavie! Ya know... much as I hate traps and for as many stray cats that found their way to my barn, my house and my heart... THOSE BLASTED BEAVERS DO A LOT OF TREE DAMAGE! I live on 5 acres and had a constant battle with deer eating my landscaping until I planted only stuff they don't like! I also have a big dog who starts growling and barking at the word 'deer'! Ah... nature! Hee, hee! :)
