Quint 4 is a 2008 Sutphen Monarch SP-70 quint with a 1,500 gpm pump and a 400 gallon water tank. I saved Ladder 5 of LCFR and used bits and pieces to keep the Sutphen alive! I made the bucket totally from scratch and was influenced by D's design and I modified it into my own design. I really tried to keep the riding profile low but, could not without making the truck look weird and had to sacrifice the crosslays on the pump to keep a decent profile. It can still carry LDH! I even used some SNOT techniques inspired by Brian Gallant's rigs. Overall I am very happy with the Sutphen! For those of you that do not know I have totally disbanded Legocreek and Wright Brickson for better projects.
Nice work Alex. My dept operates a Sutphen just like this one. Just a technical item I see, the shut off wheel for the nozzle should be on the stacked tips side. Water flow can be controlled on the fog side at the nozzle, it can not be with the stacked tips. Like I said, technical item.
Other than that, looks great!
