Memnon, city of my birth. A place where corruption runs deep and memories run deeper.
I am Artemis Entreri. I have come for vengeance. This city is dominated by one building: The Protectors' House. It is there that the priests use their power to take all that they can from the commoners. It is there that I will find my revenge.

Each day, the poorest of the poor in the city gather in the square in front of the Protectors' House. Here, priests of Selune call to the sufferers, promising to ease their pains. For a cost, of course. It is here that I, and my companions Jarlaxle and Athrogate, have my business. The leader of these priests shall pay for his crimes against the people of Memnon. He used my mother and may be my father. I care not. I care only that he dies by my hand.

The priest will accept my gold. When I ask for an audience with the high priest, they will accept. It is their nature. They care little for my demands. They care only for my gold.

I am led through the halls. They have taken my weapons, my cloak. However, I am not unarmed. The wire wrapped under my hair will serve my purpose well enough.

We come to a great hall with columns in two rows. Between them is a bright red carpet, flanked by soldiers of the church. At the end of the carpet sits Principal Cleric Yinochek, Blessed Voice Proper of Selune.

I question the priest about my mother, Shanali. He knows nothing. He cannot remember a girl he took more than three decades ago.

I accuse the priests of being the evil, vile clergy they are. As the guards turn on me, my companions Jarlaxle and Athrogate rush in. They begin to fight the guards. I have one goal: Yinochek.

I loop the wire around his neck. He is strong. I t will take time. Luckily, Jarlaxle and Athrogate can take care of themselves.

As the fight grows worse, I must release the priest and defend myself. However, it is a game of evading, for I am without weapon. And yet, Jarlaxle dealt with this matter too. Lying near him on the ground is my red sword, Charon's Claw along with my vampiric dagger. As I fetch them, I turn back and see the high priest at the far end of the hall, surrounded by his remaining guards and lackeys. With no other options, I throw my sword as a spear.

The sword misses the priest, but as Jarlaxle and Athrogate rush to finish off the remaining soldiers, I hurl my dagger. The priest is stuck in the chest. He dies, knowing he has wronged the world.

Vengeance is complete.

Tyler, This build is "solid" for five reasons: the turning plate stained glass, the cheese slope stained glass, the light from the stained glass on the ground, the intricate dedication to the story, awesome minifig action. Yep definitely FIVE. ~Dave |

Perfect build, great presentation and story and gorgeous stained glass technique. The way it reflects on the floor is awesome.
I agree. The sixth photo, where it looks like there is a ring of fire around him is my favorite. |

I thought I recognized Jarlaxle's name (Drow Mercenary from the Dark Elf Trilogy?) and that's fitting because the last person i discussed Bob Salvatore's work with was..... you! Lovely construction, really liking the splashes of stained glass. Great job mate, and good luck! |

Pure awesomeness! I never would have thought I'd see any R.A. Salvatore stuff in the MocAthalon, you have my deepest respect! Nice work on Artemis, I myself have a version lying on my desk. :) All your stained glass is excellent, the circle's very majestic. I also really like Athrogate's flails, great work and good luck!
There is a huge need for R.A. Salvatore stuff here on Mocpages. I decided to help that need, just a bit. And everyone knows that Artemis is better than Drizzt. ;)
