2012 MocAthalon entry: Ninjiant and the Ninjets Category #3 "Ghost Hunters"

Ghost Hunters
Build a MOC based on Ghost Hunting. This can be something like the Ghost Hunter’s show on SYFY, or Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel. (Google them if you do not know what those are about). The focus must be on ghosts, no vampires, werewolves, etc.

Two medieval ghost hunters, headstrong Bold McKnuckles and cautious Lord Havinglost, brave Highton Castle in search of their quarry, unware their quarry is stalking them... Will their enchanted weapons and potions save them from this assailant from the netherworld?

The landscape is hard to make out behind the thick black window but there's a moon being covered by clouds. I've removed this backdrop in some pictures to put lights there for special effects (see below).

I wanted to make the staircase fan out toward the bottom but as I only have 1x4 and 2x2 dark red tiles it was impossible (I'm determined not to Bricklink any parts for this comp--I'm a big boy now and I can build on my own!)

Trying out some different lighting. The main picture is the one I'm most happy with, although it's very grainy despite the minifig's faces' being overexposed.

Shanno, that ghost is genius mate. The fluid shape is perfect and justs looks like it's caught mid-motion. The landscape behind the gates is very clever too. Lovely job, good luck with your scores!
