6. The Supers are Back!
Design and build a MOC based on Superheroes. Use Lego’s superhero figs or design your own, but build a scene of superheroes (or super villains) in action.
TO THE MOC/STORY!
It was quiet in the Lego City Museum's Archive area while the Joe, the Coordinator for new exhibits, inspected a new shipment of ancient weapons from the old Ninja and Castle lines.
Joe has only a few more weeks to work until his retirement, so he is planning on making his final coordinated exhibit great. He inspects a surprising black Samurai sword that was said to have been weilded by an ancient warrior only known as Gojik.
He inspects the sword with great detail.
Joe: "This will make a fine piece to the exhibit. I have never seen a sword with such beauty that has killed so many enemies."
*All of a sudden, smoke fills an area by the door leading into the main museum.*
Joe: "Wait, fire?"
*Suddenly, seemingly rising out of the smoke, appeared a mysterious figure in a black hat.*
Joe: "Who are you?"
Joe: "I'm a fish out of water if you are allowed in here! Do you even have any clearance?"
*The stranger waves his hand, his name is Darnu.*
Darnu: "Awertoo jing phom tome!"
*Smoke rises from the ground all around Joe.*
Joe: "What is going on?"
*With that, Joe no longer existed as a man, but as a fish.*
Darnu: "You are now a fish, I now have clearance."
*Another bit of smoke rises, another figure appears. His name is Gojik.*
Gojik: "Well done Darnu. Now let us find my sword and armor...."
MEANWHILE....
*On the main roof of the museum, 3 thugs ready to break in through the skylight.*
Thug #1: "I'm ready to be lowered down man! Ready to make some dough on the black market?"
Thug #2: "All ready for you. I'll lower you."
Thug #1: "It's showtime...."
While our thug desends into the main building, the powerful beings Gojik and Darnu look around for weapons....
Gojik: "Darnu, this is fine armor. These will easily make me be able to rise to the top of The Order again."
Darnu: "Master, look, a mortal!"
*Thug #1 comes into view of Gojik and Darnu. Gojik releases a spell that melts the thug's cable.*
*Thug #1 falls to the ground, and dies from the impact.*
Darnu: "Good job my Master."
*Suddenly, blue smoke comes out of an air vent.*
Darnu: "Master, above you!"
*A blue skinned figure appears. It is Betar the Genie.*
Betar: "Gojik, your reign of terror ends here!"
THWACK! THWACK!
*On the roof, 2 women stand alone. The thugs are knocked out cold. They are known as the Opposite Sisters, or Jane and Amanda Potts.
Jane (with the flower in her hair): "Come on sis', let's go!"
"Prepare to die Gojik!"
*With that, Betar releases a stream of energy right at his old nemesis. It hits Gojik directly in the chest.*
*And with that Gojik is dead. All that is left is Darnu.*
Darnu: "You animal! You killed my master!"
*Darnu releases a stream of energy as well, but it is deflected by Betar's blast.*
Darnu: "Well genie, it looks like we are evenly matched."
Betar: "The power of good always will triumph over evil...."
*All of a sudden a loud rustling comes through the roof.*
*The Opposite Sisters have now entered the scene.*
Betar: "Go get him girls!"
*The Sisters jump from their rope and land right on top of Darnu. They knock him out cold with a few well placed kicks and hits.*
Jane and Amanda: "Yeah!"
Amanda (with the headband): "Alright! Another criminal taken down! Let's cuff him and lock him up."
*They turn around to handcuff the unconscious body, but are surprised at what they see.*
Both: "HE'S GONE!"
*Darnu stands alone in an unknown location.*
Darnu: "Genie, I will have my revenge. One by one you all will fall."
Darnu: "I'll be back."
THE END???
Now for some extra pics of the build.
The main base of the moc, the entire moc is situated on a 16x16 plate.
A pic of the roof, which just happens to be my favorite part of the build. Probably should have showed a pic of it without the figs and debris on top, but there isn't much of a difference. The floor of the roof is SNOTted, sitting inside a 16x16 area. So in other words, 14x14 of the roof is SNOT flooring.

The door added into the main interior. It has some detail, but is non-functoinal.
And finally I leave you with the back of the moc.
FOURTH WALL: This was a friggin' fun build. About 10 revisions, multiple nights spent redesigning parts, adding on, and painstaking picture taking. I absolutely hated the build process with this, but I really think it turned out quite nicely.
This moc was a real eye-opener for me; it showed me how hard it is to build someting under stress.
Thanks to my teammates that helped me think of ideas and everyone who was involved in helping me brainstorm ideas. Thanks to: Sebeus I, Vladimir R., Lego Family, and various others who gave me a bit of advice via Neatchat a few days ago.

The roof is SNOT, it is sitting sideways inside the railing. But whatever, it's flat and smooth. :P |
