Oldschool Van made from pieces of Creator 5867 set
About this creation
the army of red n black bricks of 5867 united in one force and filled the planes of this roomy van. it has classic looks so there s no other way just to call it the Oldschool Van. looking at the front the high and roundly shaped bonnet is the first thing which sticks in the eye. it has a huge logo in the middle and elegant air grilles on sides. there is only one rear view mirror because back in the days it was fine. and of course there s tons of space in the back of the van.
side-view. classic shape with the round silhouette of front bonnet followed by round n enormous wheel arches for rear wheels and finished by round rear panel.
rear. this car still features the wood panels starting from roof and ending all the way down at the rear of the. the tight lines of tan liven up the steady red and black planes of the car.
motile doors. some functional value added to the model.
back. there s a little tail at the top of the roof. a great accent the same like You put tasty cherries on cakes. the shape of glass fits here since there were tight windows in oldschool vehicles
and how it looks in the interpretation of Lego Digital Designer
Nice van! Something that I have been pondering about a few times as well, but so far nothing satisfying came out. This really looks like a classy oldstyle van, so well done! And, yes, it doesn't look like any of my models, but that's also due to your unique and original style. ;-)
Wow, an awesome alternative for my favourite Creator set, and the design is far away from anything Nathaniel has built so far! That's not easy as he built so much with this set! Your one is unique, I really like that 50's style of it, especially on the front. Great job! :-))
Thanks, again, for the LDD. Even if LDD instructions generator turn most parts of your clever techniques to a nightmare to understand and buid, I really appreciate the time and effort you spare, for us to enjoy your build by building it again.
