In an effort to provide a safer work environment, Trinity Shipping Lines has put a new policy into effect titled, "Signs are Safer!"
In this policy, the company will put a ridiculous amount of signs everywhere, warning the workers of the hazards of the working environment.

"Gotta put a warning sign here, so the trucks don't back up too far!"

"Should put some here to make sure nobody trips on the barrels of toxic waste!"

"USE ALL THE SIGNS!"

Seeing a gate the could cause clearance issues with incoming trucks, John decides to put caution signs on it.

But it's too tall! Standing on a box won't work...

...or a ladder!

But a forklift AND a ladder might do the job just right!
Convincing Micah, the forklift driver to be a part of the plan isn't hard at all, as he thinks the idea is completely brilliant as well!

Happy with his success at installing the first sign for safety, John attempts to attach the second one.

But a gust of wind catches the precariously balancing John, and sends him tumbling towards the ground!

SPLAT.

John has killed himself trying to be safe.
The gene pool is now rid of his stupidity

Fourth-wall commentary.
I swear, this thing has gone through so many different ideas and designs for a good cause of death, Forklift jousting, Forklift Demolition Derby, Forklift running someone over...
My team finally decided to go with the "I'm so stupid that I can't see the irony of what I'm doing" Route.
A big shout out to my teammate Nick V for coming up with that idea in the first place, and thanks to my other teammates, John 55555 and Arkov, for telling me that I should stop building so good and try to build something bad once in a while. And also for being good cannon fodder for back-stories.
:D

Heh, i think i saw a photo once of a forklift being raised up on the prongs of another forklift - which also had it's own prongs raised - and then someone was standing on top of that. I'm not sure if anyone died pulling that stunt tho...
*Ahem* Back on topic - great build and backstory! :D |

Now if one of the safety signs itself had killed him you would've REALLY had me! ;) Nice one, though. Score = 4 |

Great build all around! I really like the forklifts! I was always fascinated by them when I was little (and they're still pretty cool)! Poor John... |

Now they'll need a sign stating you shouldn't stand on ladders on top of froklifts when it's breezy out! |
