A midweight Air to Surface Hover Gunship commissioned shortly before the beginning of the Second Robot War.
About this creation

Produced just prior to the beginning of the Second Robot War, the "Breaker" is the mainstay of the SPA's Air power agaisnt the drones. Designed specifically for destroying heavy ground armor, the Breaker is equipped with an autocannon mounted beneath the cockpit and a set of eight heavy yeild anti-armor rockets.

The Breaker uses two ducted fan turbines for producing lift, and two primary turbines for foreward thrust. The Breaker is a very agile weapons platform.

Since the building density of the Industrial Sector does not easily permit aircraft, the vast majority of the SPA air forces were deployed between the Urban and Agricultural Sectors when the attack came. These aircraft proved very vital to the defense of the Urban Sector during the Drone offensive, and during the eventual and inevitable retreat from the Urban Sector.

Unfortunately, the Breakers can not handle Drone aircraft, and the drones now field anti-air units that can effectively deal with the Breaker gunships. This is part of the cause for the collapse of the Urban Sector Defense, and it's subsequent failure. The Breakers were still the Mainstay of the SPA air forces until the commissioning of the Shiv fighter.
CREATOR'S NOTES:
A simple one this time.
Before you say, I am aware that it looks a little similar to a Halo Falcon. This is not intended, as it was designed using the ESC Arrow Gunship as inspiration.
Hope you guys like it, and wanted to let you know that I got more coming your way!

Excellent VTOL, the angle of the engines add a lot to the overall shape.
Good thing. Because this is the first VTOL I've made where the engines don't move. The way I built the body, they are pretty much cemented in place. |

looks awesome, Rabid! out of curiosity, did you paint the sides of those blue turbines? anyway, I really love this thing. perhaps the only thing I'd make changes to is the armament, maybe shortening the barrel of that front gun.
Actually, those turbines came as they are. They were from the Aero-Booster set, of which I'd had the fortune to find four on clearance. Many of the parts from the little human machine that attached to the Booster became Little Blue, and the rest is history. |

Love it! Once I get my Cyberpunk theme moving along, I'm going to try to get more Project: AEGAKS stuff built. Great work on this.
It'll be good to see you building again. How goes the cyperpunk deal anyway? |

I really like it, but this is the second time I have seen that type of cockpit-hinge on the front of a ship this week and it just doesn't sit well with me. It looks a little too rough or incomplete.
I'm inclined to agree. It works well with my AEGAKS, but the aircraft are a bit of a pinch. Problem is, all the solutions that I have always end up too bulky. |

Very unique design. Love the color combo and the overall shape of the ship. Making this a VTOL was a nice touch. Nice work. |
