Take the Tunnel...Zombies (Piece Out, Mocathalon 2012, Catergory 17-ApocMOC)
About this creation
MOCathalon 2012
Piece Out
Built for the mocathalon category 17) ApocaMOC. This one is just your typical zombie apocalypse. While out collecting supplies this group of post apoc'ers incites a zombie attack and forces a gunshot to ringout through the streets. Great, now there will be a crowd coming....have to take the tunnel to get out of there. Doesn't look all that safe either.

Some different shots and an experiment with different lighting.

While I appreciate the size of this, I think it looks hastily put together and very un-realistic. Score: a very solid 4

That's a great scene with some awesome details! Nice parts usage here and there, especially on the transformator! Great job! :-))

You call this a zombie apocalypse? Doesn't hold a candle to the Great Zombie Attack of '57. By the way, I noticed a Rage icon on that wall.

Thanks for the comments guys, the power pole maybe the most creative part of the moc(I'm an electrician though...so it kind of figures)The set is a little large but I'm also a big fan of using large prefab pieces which can make the building a little quicker. The stickers are cut husks left over from official lego stickers. I do wish I had more zombies on the road, but I don't have the faces, I wanted a crowd coming down the road...but alas I have a limit to my collection like everyone else. So I settled with just one on the road and a bunch of arm/hands sticking through the gate. Somtimes the thought of an impending zombie attack is scarier then when your in the thick of it anyway. Appreciate the feedback on the moc though, so thanks again.

So cool/neat/awesome/super... I especailly like that power pole and the various lines leading off of it. The grid must be still pushing out a few electrons! :)

The build itself is pretty straight forward (ie: brick on brick) but don't take that as saying a bad thing (if it ain't broke, don't fix it), I love this! Well excecuted and worth a good 5 points from me! ~ Chris.
