Lin Gow's "High Lotus Sleeping Tiger-Dragon" Almost Vic Viper
Built in late 2011-early 2012.
About this creation
I'm sorry, but I just couldn't convince myself to add a vertical fin...but it's still almost a VV.

Two of the side plates open up for engine matinence.

Landing gear up.

Want a backstory for the ship's name? Watch a Jackie Chan movie...

What a gorgeous ship. The SNOT work here is spotless. Love the shape of the ship, the "almost" Vic Viper look of the ship gives it its appeal. The color choices are perfect. Great work.

I Feel your pain on the VVertical Tail. Actually, to be honest, I downright dislike Single VVertical Tails. Then on the other hand, if the Eta-3 Actis Interceptor (Star Wars Ep. 3) had a VVertical tail it would be a VVic VViper --"If my grandmother had wheeels, she'd be a wagon." -Scotty --"Woof!" -Me

That kind of reminds me of the Cover art for the Hardback Edition of Ender's Game. Nicely made. ^Blub^

Wow, that's cool! It may not be a Vic Viper, but the design is great! There are so many details and some cool functions, it looks very playable! I also like the colour scheme and with a tiny fin it could be a great Vic Viper, too ... (I'd have a 1x3x1 arch in mind, replacing the cheese wedge) Anyway: Great job! :-))

Smooth build, great curves on the engines, but that little skull pushes it over the edge into the amazing category.
