Rise of the Legend 08: Incorruptible
About this creation
Coruscant, roughly one month after the events in the Rise of the Legend 7.

In the lower levels of the Jedi Temple, the smell of burning ozone and the sound of crackling lightsabers can be heard clearly through out the tall corridors.

Michel Kringe: "Soresu Hara? Sure you'd prefer a stronger attack?"
Harash Soru: "The best attack is often a good defence Master Kringe. This is the form I have chosen."

Michel Kringe: "Then we have much to work on."

After another hour or so of practice, the two Jedi take a seat to recover their energy.

Michel Kringe: "You did well Hara. It seems the Soresu form suits you well."
Harash Soru: "Thank you Master."

There was a brief silence before Hara turned back to Michel.

Harash Soru: "Master Kringe, what is happening with my training? I mean, I go on missions with Master Yaddle yet when I am here at the Temple it is you who I spend most of my time training with."

For a brief moment Michel considered telling Hara the truth. However he soon stopped himself realising the consequences that option might have on the young boy.

Michel Kringe: "Master Yaddle is an excellent teacher Hara. But she has much work to do as a member of the Council. And as you know, Master Yaddle is not one for duelling. I am simply here to fill in the gaps that she cannot."

Satisfied that Hara had accepted the lie, Michel stood up.

Michel Kringe: "Anyway, you'd best go get some food before the other Padawan's have it all. I'll see you later."
Harash Soru: "Yes Master. And thank you!"

Michel smiled as Hara left the room. Shortly after the Padawan had left, Mace Windu and Yaddle entered the training room.

Michel Kringe: "Masters, thank you for coming."
Yaddle: "News you have Master Kringe?"
Michel Kringe: "Yes, as you know Hara is progressing at a great speed. i wish to test him, to find out whether he is really what we believe him to be."
Mace Windu: "What do you have in mind?"

Michel Kringe: "We present him with a Sith holocron."

Mace Windu: "Master Kringe, that is incredibly irresponsible."
Yaddle: "Destroy Hara, it could."
Michel Kringe: "Forgive me Masters but no, it would not."

Michel Kringe: "We all want to know what Hara is capable of, I propose we open him up to the full Force of the Dark Side. We will be there to shield him should he fail. Either way, Hara will be safe and we will have the answer we seek."

Mace Windu: "I do not agree with this. But the choice is down to Yaddle."
Yaddle: "Hmm, blinded by our caring for Hara we are. Tested he must be."
Michel Kringe: "He will not fail Masters."

Harash Soru walked slowly into one of the Temple vaults, bowing to Mace and Yaddle as he passed.

Michel Kringe: "Come Hara, kneel."

Hara did as instructed and watched as Master Kringe placed a black holocron before him.

Michel Kringe: "You are to meditate on this holocron Hara. Do not be afraid of it, open yourself to it and follow the Force."

Hara nodded and focused his mind on the dark object.

He was stood in the training room where he and Master Kringe trained. A black figure stood with his back to Hara.

Harash Soru: "Hello?"

The figure turned around, activated a red lightsaber, and charged the Padawan.

Hara jumped over the dark figure.

Harash Soru: "Who are you?!"

Dark Harash Soru: "I am you Hara. I am what you could be if you embraced the Dark Side!"

In his surprise, Hara funmbled a parry. The Dark version of himself reached out with the Force and shoved him backwards.

Dark Harash Soru: "The Jedi are holding you back. You have merely scraped the surface of your power. This is what you are capable of!"

The Dark Soru suddenly unleashed a storm of lightning, causing the Padawan to scream in pain.

In his head Hara tried to focus. Images came to his mind, the words of Master Yaddle and Master Kringe.
Hara's face set.

Harash Soru: "I will never accept the Dark Side!"

Hara's hands shot up and began to absorb the lightning.

Summoning the Force, Hara turned the storm back on his Dark self and sent him flying.

Hara jumped, his blade coming to his hand and stabbed downwards. As his blade touched the Dark version of himself the would-be Sith vanished.

Dark Harash Soru: "You think you are free. I will haunt you forever."

Mace Windu: "Hara! Hara!"
Michel Kringe: "Wake up Hara!"
Harash Soru: "What...?"

Yaddle: "Padawan, glad to hear your voice I am."
Michel Kringe: "How do you feel?"

Hara paused before looking up at the Jedi.

Harash Soru: "I have never felt the Force so strongly Master."

Michel surpressed a smile.

Michel Kringe: "Good. Now go get a drink or something. We'll talk later."

The three Jedi Masters watched as Hara left the room.
When the Padawan was out of earshot Michel finally smiled.

Michel Kringe: "Masters, there goes an incorruptible Jedi."

Cool idea for Hara sitting! Also how did you get his arms to stay like that in the first couple pictures? I don't see any rubber band. Anyways, do you have any ideas for how to get my comics more popular?
