In the alley ways of Brick City, there is only one thing to do ... Parkour! Round 2 of Caleb's 4X4 Contest
About this creation
So I have advanced to Round 2 of Caleb's 4X4 Contest and we were given four topics to choose from: Macroscale, (Kind of already did that, a little.) Steampunk, (I figured too many would choose this.) Gaming, (Well, I don't game.) and Parkour. (Well, let's give that a try.)
I had a fun time building this. At first, I tried to build with pieces I did not have access to, (I would not recommend this building style. ;) ) and then I saw all these old gray bricks and it just came together.
The setting is a fire escape in an alley way in Brick City. Three free runners are having the time of their lives.
The next five pictures are all different angles of the 4X4. This was difficult due to how tall this turned out to be, so bare with it.
And Now on to some detail shots
Here we have a guy beginning to jump off the fire ecsape ladder to perform a barrel role. Parkour!
Here we have a guy getting ready to flip over the railing of the fire escape and land on top. Parkour!
And here we have a guy jumping off the top of the building to the invisible adjacent building on the other side of the alley. Parkour!
Just how I made the building hopper fly.
Some people like to put plants out on their fire escapes. This is just some added detail to make the 4X4 more interesting.
On the ground we find a frog and his buddy, the alley cat who is digging for food in the trash.
All trash cans come with authentic garbage.
The 4X4 without figures.
Monkey Parkour! (In all reality, this is probably cheating. Monkeys perform parkour naturally.)
Quoting daevster !
Haha! This is exactly what I imagined for this category! Nicely done!
Wrong sir, this is exactly what I imagined. :P
Quoting Original Channel of MOCpages (Caleb)

Cue Angelic Choir
Quoting Ben Cossy
My one complaint though is that the top of the building doesn't seem to fit the rest, I think with a bit more work and detail it would look a lot better, but other then that AWESOME work :D
Yeah, I think I should have added a 2X4 plate. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to remember that next time.
Very cool! The fire escape ladder fits in very well, everything looks awesome! My one complaint though is that the top of the building doesn't seem to fit the rest, I think with a bit more work and detail it would look a lot better, but other then that AWESOME work :D
Haha! This is exactly what I imagined for this category! Nicely done! I finished my round 2 entry last week, but I've been too busy to upload it... Maybe this weekend.
Good luck with the judges! I know they'll love it :D
