About this creation
The Globetrotters in the 2012 MOCathalon category:
1: Adventure Time!
Build a MOC, any size; depicting an adventurous person in an exciting scene like is seen in Indiana Jones, The Mummy or other adventure films. IE: Indiana Jones, Pharaoh’s Quest, Adventures, The Mummy, etc.

Ada Adventure; everyone's favourite British female exploring adventurer in her latest adventure! Ada, her trusty pilot Boris and her dashing assistant Cuthbert have traveled all the way from Blighty to South America in search of the ancient Golden Helmet. But it's not as easy as that - the ground is infested with brain-thirsty mummies who out for a delicious meal! Lucky Cuthbert brought his dynamite sticks with him - he's blown a rock-spring apart and now fast flowing water is everywhere. Unfortunately (fellas) Ada forgot to pack her swimmers so shes staying in her full attire for know ;)

And just in case you're wondering "that biplane's a little stubby, isn't it" then you'd be right. But it was intentional, I was going for a cartoony/cutey look and its not meant to resemble the most realistic biplane in the world :P

It took a long time to configure a method to have the tail fin sat i the middle of the the slanting sides, but I got there eventually :P

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed your viewing experience!

Dang! It's funny, so far it's looking like you and I have the same categories in our teams. I'm building the Elephant and the Fly category (Ironically enough it's also one of Xenomurphy's builds), And I'm planning on doing our adventure category. Anyways, good luck!

Quoting Will A. Well, you pulled the best water pattern card on us again. That will surely earn you another perfect score!!! I don't think the plane looks stubby, though.
Take a look at this shot and the stubby-ness may be a bit more apparent :) http://www.flickr.com/photos/brickpix/6977331037/in/photostream
