9. Alternate Star Wars:
Build a MOC showing an alternate history in Star Wars. IE: Vader kills Obi Wan on that lava planet, Vader kills Luke on the Death Star, the separatists win the clone wars, anything you want!
Can Jar-Jar the Jedi be any more alternate?
TO THE MOC!
Overview of the moc. All 2 levels and 16x32 goodness!
Front side. Includes Rebel Troopers (and Han Solo, or should I say San Holo?) advancing.
Back view. Includes the hallway and some of the roof.
Overview of the first part of the moc: the landscaping. It is a 16x14 base, allowing the other 2x16 studs to connect to the main part of the moc.
Shot of the Rebels, looking from the right.
Same idea, now from the left.
Looks like someone in that tree has his eye on Han and the gang!
A pic of the tree that makes a crucial appearance in the moc.
Overview of the moc with no tree or figs.
The small stream/river spurting out of the hillside. It was a last minute detail, but an hour's worth of work on tile placement might help the points. :)
The detail of the big hill. About all 40 of my tan 1x2 slopes went into this.
The small hill, all 8 or so of my dark tan 1x2 slopes went into that.
A final shot of the tree, this time by itself.
Overview of the base. 2 levels, SNOTted interior, and it's entire 16x18 size make up the bulk of the build. It can be added to the 2x16 studs on the other part of the moc to create a complete scene.
Jedi Jar-Jar cuts down some Imperial troops, or at least scares them.
When Jar-Jar is around, people are scared. When he has a lightsaber, they panic and run wherever in hopes of finding a safe shelter from the menace.
Inside of the hallway. The floor is SNOTted, and the doorway actually has some detail.
The empty hallway.
Overview of the roof.
It seems a few of our friendly MocAthalon judges have decided to join us in this moc!
Here our friendly judges are shown being your typical slacking (hardworking) Imperial cannon-fodder (troops).
Another view of the roof with the cannon-fodder (troops) gambling and getting wasted!
I just couldn't resist this, it just worked on so many levels.
This Bud's for you Heath!
Left side of the roof, with various crates and boxes.
Kelso's surfboard and Phipson's boombox from 1982 sure tie the look of the place together!
Right side view of the roof, more boxes and crates, along with the table for gambling/trading honestly.
Outside of the front entrance, here the steps and doorway are shown.
The same picture, now at a different angle.
Here we have the minifigs! All of them, including the custom ones, that made it in the moc.
Well, this is typical.
Bones and Phipson gambling, Heath is hammered, and Kelso getting drunk again after he was told off by the cute Jawa down the street.
Everything in the moc(s) that was built.
Just had to show this, my custom Han Solo.
FOURTH WALL: This piece of work has been sitting on my shelf for the last 2 weeks, constantly being changed. It took a while, but I finally have a good reason to upload something else for the MA!
Comments and constructive criticism are always appreciated. KP out!
I kinda see what Heath is talking about, there are Snow-troopers, Storm-troopers, Scout-troopers, Imperial Officers, etc. And then Jar-Jar's a Jedi, attacking a base with Han Solo and Rebel Commandos. And on top of that (literally), there's drunk judges playing cards. I think there's just a bit too much going on, hence making it all muddled. Sorry, just had to get that out of my system. :P
