Theed Hangar Battle
About this creation
The battle rages on inside the Theed hangar as the Trade Federation droid army brings in reinforcements to recapture the hangar. As several Naboo Starfighters scramble to get airborne, the ground forces have been split to enable the royal entourage to get to the palace.

Wow, that's epic! The modular design is a great idea for these (hopefully) future sets! The scene composition is great, especially the many, many details. The Droidekas are awesome and the "combat droid junk" everywhere on the floor is the extra candy for me. Great job! :-))

Now you've outdone yourself. Beside the fact that this MOC is huge it is also brilliant. As I mentioned once before while commenting on one of your SW MOC's - you should be doing all those SW movies all over again in LEGO

Impressive! I like that you used the classic yellow minifigs. They are simple and much better than the new flesh versions.

Under most circumstances, I have a rich, fulminating dislike of Episode I: The Phantom Plot. This diorama manages to make it look interesting. Absolutely wonderful work! A minor technical question: in the wall decorations where you're using part 32177 (Technic lift arm with fan), just beneath that are you using an upside-down part 3659 (Arch 1x4) with a 1x4 tile covering the studs so that it slides into place? If so, I do believe I might steal that trick from you. :)
