Specters are real, but they aren’t always nice.
About this creation
This is category 3 for the MocAthalon, Ghost Hunters. And it's the second entry I've supplied to my team, Team GAIA.
A corporation bought some property to house offices or whatever. There is a problem though: the area is haunted, or at least the suits think so.

People have been disappearing in this area for the past couple years. The locals think it’s haunted, that info is enough for the corporation to hire a few ghost-fighting professionals. They’ve seen it all from poltergeists to sewer-people (don’t ask).
More likely than not, the terrors they investigate are just exaggerations like bears or serial killers, not ghosts. So they are packing heat and a few particle packs just in case.

They’re in business; a transparent bad guy is present. He’s taken a few victims, but it’s nothing they can’t handle.

He must have seen something really troubling, perhaps his brother drank the rest of the Pepsi?

Or he was just killed and left to rot in this old hatch.

Lead Ghost-Hunter: “Alright, let’s get to it. Take care though, it could be anywhere.”
//Fourth Wall Stuff//

You are spared from a, probably poorly executed, comic showing them take out the ghost. The rest of this will just be photos of the build.

I’m really pleased with how this entry turned out, but it did make me note my small supply of flora.

This tree needs more leaves and branches, too bad I ran out of brown angles and leaves.

This technique came to me not too long ago. Inverted bush + round brown bricks + rod = small shrub-tree-thingy.
The professionals:

I won’t bore you with names, but the guy on the left has a special tazzer capable of freezing a shade. On the right is the leader, equipped with a particle pack inspired by the movie Ghostbusters, and a blinker that blinks ever faster when the ghost is around.

Over here: the one on the left has the trap (also inspired by that movie) and on the right is the tough guy tasked with taking out rogue animals or killers. The tough guy does have a sword made of silver: silver is useful against ghosts, werewolves and I think vampires too.

This is a non-poorly-GIMPed shot of the ghost. This spirit hunts people (Ghost Hunter), so I outfitted him like an outdoorsman.

If you haven’t seen that film, here’s how they’d go about capturing the ghost:
-Draw it out.
-Hold it with their particle-pack nozzle.
-Move it over the trap.
-Open the trap, capturing the sucker.
-Dispose of the remains, somehow.

This is the back of the vig, I didn’t want to waste time making the edges pretty.

I’ll show the roads notable features in just one picture. It has a drainage grating, a rumble strip for sleeping drivers, and a guard rail that’ll break when you crash into it.

And this is where the drainage ends up, a lot cleaner than it would be in the real world. This is actually my favourite aspect of the build

After being drained, the water pools, but then flows as a stream.

There used to be a farmhouse here, long ago.

Hey look, a corpse hatch. Er uh, I mean… innocence tube. Filled with that shadow’s prey.
I removed the foliage to show the rockwork.

Now, I don’t have enough green plates to make great landscapes, but I do have a surplus of green blocks and miscellaneously coloured plates.

And a closing shot for this entry.

Well-made even with the 'lack' of foliage. Cool rockwork and presentation! |

Nice landscape work. Juuuuust shy of a four, but since we can't get into fractions, a very resounding 3! |

Silver doesn't really kill werewolves, a.k.a. vampires. I think I heard somewhere a hundred times that "Vampires don't die". You can't destroy them, can't blind them with light, you can't escape them, they're able to fly, but there's one thing you just can't deny - vampires don't die.
Where'd you get that from? |
|
|
The sewer and minifig details are great. Not sure what Deus is going on about. :/ Score= 3 |

Can't give ya any points for the ghost (photoshop) but the rest of the build was very nice. I liked the rock work and the underground shelter... thingy... Ok, so I've typed three and four points back and forth about five times here... take your 4 points and get outta here. hehe ~ Chris. |
