Technic excavator
My fully functional excavator parked on a job site
About this creation
My legoŽ Technic excavator.
It features motorized tracks and slewing, lights and a automatic compressor that turns on when the pressure drops, the arm is controlled by the pneumatic switches on top.

Left side view. The boom has a working hydraulic hammer.

Right side view were you can see the railing, exhaust pipe and air intake.

Rear view here you can see the curved rear cover and the brake lights.

Side view of the cab, the cab features track controls, protective grill over the windshield and a seat.

Here you can see the protective grill and a caution light on the roof.

The boom with the bucket attached the bucket is in the full closed position. (if this is not the correct term please tell me.)

Bucket in the fully extended position.

My excavator digging with my bobcat.

Dumping a bucket load of dirt.

Breaking a rock apart with the hydraulic hammer.

Group photo. You can see the excavator controller and the bucket in the background. Please tell me if the excavator and the bobcat are the same scale thank you.

Quoting Polomoche Mann You're a great photographer mate! Great functions - you could almost have arm-wrestles with this creation! This is an awesome beast!
Thank you. I might have to put in a stronger compressor before I hold arm wrestling tournaments.

Quoting George Staples Very awesome. I think it could use a few more details on the cab and engine compartment, like doors, and mirrors, ect. The bobcat being scale to it is pretty close. because of all the functions, and all the pneumatics, I'll give you a 5/5 :)
Ok I will add mirrors. Do you mean doors on the engine compartment? I added a door to the cab and it didn't work ascetically. I'm glad that I made the bobcat to scale, thankyou for the 5 of 5.

Quoting Jon Treasure Awesome! i love the functions! i do think its needs some work on the arm ( like putting some yellow plates). other than that i love your excavator!
Thank you for the advice. And I will put some plates on the arm. I am also going to make a movie and try to post it on this page.

Quoting Ape Fight Love it- proper Technic functions! The looks could be a bit slicker, but the functionality is top stuff. Nice to see photos of it at work too. 5/5
Thank you. What do you recommend I do to make it look better?
