Welcome to my latest creation, one of the most recognizable places in superhero comics, the Batcave! This is something I've been giving serious thought to building for quite some time now and finally after two months, it's a reality! I'd like to give thanks to Orion Pax and Tigmon74 (flickr) for the inspiration behind my batcave design. I was also heavily influenced by the 1989 Batman film (the batmobile) and the Batman Animated series (the elevator, costume display). In this moc you'll notice a rather discolored individual who was rescued by Batman after falling prey to yet another one of Poison Ivy's cynical crimes. In the lab Batman has acquired a sample of Poison Ivy's new toxin that was used on the innocent civilian. Now it's only a matter of time for Batman to develop an antidote that can save that man's life and put an end to Poison Ivy's reign of crime!
I guess the original batcave to be darker, but, yours looks better, cleaner, and functional, it would be interesting to experiment with special lighting techniques on this piece, do you have any small flashlight? I love the round windsheild you used for the car, also, will you extend it for the batplane or add a batboat? superbly done ore!
Definitely one of my favorite creations on the pages! I really apprciate all the pictures you put up to show the details. I know that takes a lot of work! Only question is who is the injured guy on the table?
"Its simple: kill the Batman." On the other hand, this Batcave isn't all that simple. Great job and awesome detailing! Everything is accurately portrayed, placed, everything! It feels like I'm putting so many exclamation points in this comment! I think I'm going to pass out!... Okay. I'm good... This is awesomely amazing! 5/5!!!
Forget the 5 heads I am giving you ***** 10 stars!
All I could say was omg! omg! omg! What detail. From the old costume closet to the elevator with Alfred and the console chair!!!!! This is a good example of EYE CANDY! At it's best!!!!!
wow, this is an amazing Batcave! i love the hanging joker card! And the Batmobile is just pure awesomeness. The suit display was a great idea. And i like the jars with the Joker bomb, Catwoman's mask, the golden dino, and is that Two-Face's coin? great job with this.
This is just... absolutely ridiculous. In a good way. The details are fantastic, and everything is just.... mind boggling. That Batmobile too, especially well done. Incredifantasticalamazingabsolutelystunningmagnificent-est job, ever.....
What a great build! Lots of great features and playability in that MOC. I want one. Two very minor things to possibly tweak: one of the "7"s on the card is going the wrong direction and I would change the floor lights to either trans-flor blue or yellow to make them stand out just a little more. If you could get some of Artifex Creations' lights and put them in or build a lighting frame above that would be perfection. Kudos for your hard work.
Wow a very impressive build full of detail and thought. I love the collection of suits. The batmobile is awesome one of the best I have seen. I have started a group for this type of creation I will send you an invite. No pressure to join.
Truly phenomenal! The sheer size of this alone is impressive, but I can tell you really spent a lot of time on every small section. The cleanliness of the MOC is refreshing, and you have enough empty space between details that it's not cluttered. The irregular base with broken tiers of rock is amazing, and the waterfall a superb addition. Great work!
Beautiful build! This is fascinating and superbly done! It is clean, detailed and inspiring. I love every part of it but the best of all is the water fall. I can see that you have placed blue bricks behind the transparent pieces. This is just brilliant. Great build, sir!
