About this creation
The Globetrotters in the 2012 MOCathalon category: #14 - "The Elephant and the Fly:
Choose a large-scale-model you like and build it in Microscale - don't forget to link your chosen subject!"

The model that I have chosen to shrink down is one of my all time favourite creations of all time, Mr Xenomurphy's absolutely amazing
Superman & Young Justice vs. Brainiac
!

When I set out to build this, I thought the main challenge would be trying to shrink everything down; well it wasn't. The main challenge was trying to build a chunky old model like this with my minuscule collection of dark tan! And I did have to destroy my Fire Brigade Modular to obtain all those 1x1 tiles ;)

The road was my favourite part to make and I still love that little black drain on the side of the path!

From left to right, the Comic Shop, the Green Grocer's and the Barbershop.

Here you can clearly see "Daily Planet" spelt out under the globe ;)

I had to use by builder's licence a little on the roof, as the robots can't stand without support, nor can they hold the Young Justice guys :P

I tried my hardest to fit in as many details as possible.

I hope you enjoyed my creation and a big thanks to Mr Xenomurphy for making such an amazing model!

Thanks for stopping by.

This is indeed great, George, quite a spectacular build! My only problem is that it seems all of your great mocs are just micro copies of other great builds. Some really original mocs would really show how great of a mocist you are!
