Looking for original themes, I thought to make something in the mesoamerican style. Cozamalotl means rainbow in Nahuatl, the Aztec language.

LOVE IT!!!! Its not often that someone builds anything aztec themed. I tried a few years back, before LDD had the extended edition, and it was totally boring and bland. yours has tons of cool angles in it that are very realistic. I love those relief carvings. even better is that they're are all not the same. its like they truly tell a story in this city. your thatched roof is epic. not entirely sure how you keep your sanity after getting LDD to that, but it really reminds me of woven grass bundles that Californian Indians used to make their homes with. i also like that your spaniards are very diverse with their armor and weapons. it looks less like a copy&paste nightmare and more natural. the only suggestion I have is that you work on making your landscaping a bit less sparse. this model and Iishi Castle both could easily blend into and jungle or forest with a bit more growth around the edge of the model. but, i totally get it, placing plants sucks in LDD. you need to enter into some contests, because I have no doubt that this model would place very well. |

I like everything in here, but my favorite parts have to be the thatched roof and the "paintings" on the wall. |

You are the best LDD builder I've ever seen. You really take advantage of the best thing about LDD, unlimited bricks!
Thank you very much! That is the nicest thing anyone has said to me all week. There is, however, a limit to the amount of bricks that you can use in LDD. I found that out the hard way when I was making Ishii Castle. That one uses almost 30,000 bricks and at that size LDD starts to crash whenever you try to save. Even using my best computer, it bogs way down. |

This is a really nice city. Like said below, usually LDD isn't my favorite, but this is fantastic! |

Quoting Warehouse Reach (the Arbiter)
How many pieces did you have at the end of the moc?
7471 bricks, or about a fourth as many as in Ishii castle. This one is less brick intensive even though the overall physical size is not that different. The pyramids were blessedly easy to make. After the complexity of the roofing in the castle this was a welcome relief! |

Excellent job on the thatched roof! I think your selection of 1x1 round tiles is a bit ambitious though! |

Another superb build! You really have a knack for cultural architecture and the Aztecs are a realm that seldom gets any LEGO love. Wonderful job! |
