Team Brick-O-Naughts's entry in the category Vignetted for the 2012 MocAthalon.
Like several others, it seems, for the category 'Vignetted' I have chosen to build a SW scene. This vig depicts the bit where Darth Vader walks into the Rebel Base on Hoth with lots of his little pet snowtroopers running around :P I tried to use some subtle lighting effects to create that bluey-white snow tinge; it seems to have come out OK.

A snowtrooper shoots a Rebel trooper in the leg, he falls over backwards with the impact

The cannon seems to be primed to fire...

For me, this one was right on the line between a 2 and a 3. But given the way I've been voting thus far, I'm going to have to go with a 2 (been somewhat reserved with everyone). Not bad, but a very common subject and fairly simple in construction.

Not gonna mark you down for that since it's written in a few other spots that it's actually the vig category, just make sure you don't make that mistake on the next one, k?
