This is my 4-wide version of the DeLorean DMC-12 with the built-in time machine as seen in the Back to the Future movies

About this creation

The design of this car took a few months until I got this version. I built it in LDD first and I stopped and restarted the design process a few times. I had a real "MOCblock" with this one. So I'm really glad that it's finished for now.

Compared to the preview version I've only made some minor changes:
- The dark grey parts have been replaced by new light grey ones
- The black 1x1 tiles with a holder now are light grey, too
- The front bumper is light grey instead of black
- I moved the side mirrors 1 plate down, so now they are light grey instead of black.
Before I forget that: Credits for the mirrors go to Pierre KissTheSky and his BMW M5.

I've added "Mr. Fusion" because it's a lot more practical to use organic waste instead of Plutonium to run the time machine ;-)) And before you ask: I've tried to add the hover mode, too, but it just didn't work in 4-wide.

I wanted to be able to open the doors since the start. So I built them first and then built the reast of the model around. That worked really well in LDD. By the way: The side mirrors work really well as door handles :-))

The interior, passenger side:

The trans-yellow part is supposed to have the Flux Capacitor inside ;-))

So this is V1.0 of my 4-wide LEGO DeLorean time machine from the Back to the Future movies. I hope you like it :-))

Another car (with gull wing doors), which I'd have thought was next to impossible in 4-wide. Neat and immediately recognisable. I'm hoping to see an original James Bond Aston Martin, with bullet shield, oil slicks and ejector seat, in 4-wide, from you one day. Great work.
