UCS scale AT-AA Walker from the RTS video game Star Wars: Empire at War.
About this creation
The AT-AA (All Terrain Anti Aircraft) Walker was used by the Empire during the Galactic Civil War. Its main purpose was to protect long-legged walkers like the AT-AT from T-47 Airspeeders and their very effective tow-cables. The walker's top turret was equipped with rapid-fire missile launchers that decimated any aircraft within range. The AT-AA made its debut in the RTS video game Star Wars: Empire at War. So, without further to do...

I was really worried about falling forward when I took this picture...

Sorry for the blurred pics. This was my second MOC (built about 2 years ago) and I didn't have very good camera skills back then.

During the building process, I realized that there weren't any images of the back of the AT-AA, and since I don't have the game, I had to...improvise.

Even though the walker is approximately UCS scale, I still decided to add an interior.

Hey, might as well add a command center!

Even Stormtroopers need their beauty sleep.
Fourth-Wall Commentary: 2 years ago I had a bunch of LEGO sets, but I didn't make any MOCs. Finally, I built up the courage to take apart all of my sets and organize them into color-coded boxes. That was the start of my MOC making career. I made a tiny cabin for a coinciding poem about Bigfoot, then I decided to build something a little bigger. The AT-AA seemed to fit the bill frankly because the only other LEGO AT-AA I'd seen was a tiny model by Brickdoctor. After a week of building and rebuilding, I finally completed the monster. And so started the obsession...

A sadly underated MOC.
Brilliant! I once tried to make one of these but hit a dead end. I might revisit it. But I can't promise it will be better than yours. |

I'd had some intention of making this walker, but it looks like you got there first. A marvelous, and quite smooth, design sir. |
