Thank you everyone!

Well it looks pretty real, I'll give you that. My first thought was....why is this guy posting a BBQ lighter? LMAO The handle is perfect, but the nozzle seems a bit short. I'll give you the extra point for tricking me though. LOL Score= 3
Thanks! It probably has something to do with the pictures because I measured it with a real one side-by-side. Or maybe your lighters are longer. :)

Nice MOC. I kinda think this deserves a higher score than it got. The SNOT is effective and neatly done.
Thanks! I'm glad you like it!

Very good work LB! Just had a look through the scores and they seem quite low but I can kind of see why, it's a pretty simple build but hey I like it :-)
Hahaha...I think you might think otherwise if you saw how I connected it on the other side. I squeezed 4 or so 1 by 1 brick modified, headlights in there to connected the three different parts without having to ruin the shape or have tiny 1/2 plate gaps in between. :)

A bit to simple for the potential of the category... Score = 2 - K. |

It is a tad simple and guess what? I can only see the main picture. Your score = 2
That's odd. Photos can also be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/73032062@N08/ |

Mr. LEGO Builder,
This is an excellent representation of the lighter! It fits the category beautifully!
However, it is a simple build.
Your Score: 2 |

It seems to be running out of gas. You could at least have built a new lighter. |

Nice entry! It's got the shape down perfectly. The one thing I think might improve it is if you added the trigger thing (don't know what to call it) but that might've been very tricky to pull off. :)
I do have that part. :)
Quoting JS Can
Probably the best entry so far. It might have been good to take a photo of your MOC next to a real lighter for comparison (if you felt you did a good job). To the other commenter, the trigger is there. It is the black part.
Yeah, I thought about it, but unfortunately, the real one is pretty beat up. |
