(WIP, PLEASE DO NOT RATE) - 1974 Dodge Monaco Sedan (Police Package)
Hi guys, sorry I am not commenting on your MOCs since the rating system doesn't seem to work. I will do it when it is working again, promised. Maybe this is an opportunity to add a WIP again. It's a 1974 Dodge Monaco Sedan. The car itself isn't that interesting, it is rather the police package: It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters, so it'll run good on regular gas. The car will hopefully be sold at the Mt. Prospect City Police Auction near Chicago. Bid on it if you like it!

Stupid rating system! I don't know if I'll post any MOC's while the rating system doesn't works... But now about you car, cause it is a beauty so far! The front looks excellent, mostly because of the 2 bars on the front. From what I can see on the photos, the rear looks very good too. I like the star on the side doors! Great car, I hope to see it finished soon! :-)

Quoting Nils O. One more thing about your model: The "bull bars" seem to be a little high. I'd use 3L bars instead of 4L ones: http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=93080&colorID=11
Thanks a lot Nils, you are absolutely right, it looks odd. In fact the 3L bar is on my Bricklink wanted list, but somehow I didn't think of it - perhaps my usual dealers don't have it. Hopefully there is a different solution since I don't want to place another order only because of this ;-)

Quoting Marcus Paul But what does "Bluesmobile" mean? In fact there is a guy who seems to be interested, but he doesn't seem to be a musician at all - rather looks like he's from the CIA or something.
Do you mean that big guy with the sunglasses and the cheap suit? Be careful with that guy. He uses to appear with a whole bunch of cops. And don't talk to any cowboys or military looking guys, if you don't want to get any trouble... And if you get to drive the car don't forget the RayBans ;-)) ... I might have seen a certain movie too many times. Be careful with that movie or you end up with your brother at a carnival party wearing black suits, black hats and sunglasses. :-))

nice job impressive ..

I'd built a speaker for it. Ertl even made a scale model of it with the big speaker :-)) Why stop after having half the fun...? :-))

Quoting Milos Jovanovic What do you mean do not rate it? It looks great - I have to rate it. All you need is a giant megaphone on the roof. :-)
Thanks Milos! But I am not quite sure about the megaphone. Do you think someone will pay more for it then?
