You know, the sword is really cool, but the stand it what really impresses me. The curves and lines on it a very well executed.

Definitely a cool sword. But I must say, the stand absolutely steals the show here. I love the curling effect you've achieved. Beautiful work.

Quoting Will A. Geez, Louise. You just keep on churnin out these great MOCs. Are you a professional? Of course you are :)
Ha! I wish. Just a fan since 1978. However, I have been the Show Chairperson of the Lego Competition @ EXPO New Mexico / The New Mexico State Fair since 2003. It's always a blast and it is a decent venue to display my work and occasionally, live building demos. I also build sculptures for new video game releases for Hastings Entertainment since October 2010. If the game logo matches Lego colors, then I add it to a short list of possible builds. Hope that answers a few questions for ya. Thanks for the excellent compliment Will.

Quoting Deus Otiosus The side-details are of course excellent, but the sword looks very thick... The axe you made is a lot better, if you decorated it as you did it with the sword...
Absolutely. That was my thought as well after its construction but I was able to solve this issue a few days later with a next gen evolution of this technique. The original premise of this design was to ensure the blade would not bend or bow while in full swing. Come by again when I post the next few blades in my Zanpakuto series. Thanks for the excellent feedback Deus Otiosus. :) -M.

Quoting David Alexander Smith The curves on the sand are amazing. Some more photos would be great.
Thank you David. Yeah, the day was overcast when I took these a few days ago. Many photos were badly washed out. I plan on shooting it tomorrow weather permitting. I will also shoot the stand separately as well.
