About this creation

I redesigned my Uzi last night. I added all kinds of details. I went studless on most of this model too. The backside of the grip still has studs on it. The magazine is removable. I gave it an oversized suppressor that I saw in a couple pics. It fits right over the barrel. I also gave it a retractable stock. That was the most difficult part. For some reason, LDD won't move the stock on the pivots when it's all together. But it is designed to bend. If anyone gets the movie reference in the title, let me know.

I had to tweak a few things due to limited pieces available though, and the stock doesn't stay retracted, it just falls down, so I plan on making some modifications and I'll try to work in the working cocking lever. Keep up the great work, I love your weapons! :-)

Hey thanks!! Glad you like it. I wasn't sure how well the stock would hold up in real life. My real Lego Uzi doesn't have one yet. I thought maybe with enough friction pins, it would hold. I hope you post pics, I'd love to see it.

Very nice indeed! I made my own Uzi using some of the most unusual pieces and techniques. But, sadly, we hired a cleaner to come clean our house and she knocked it over.

Thanks for commenting. Unfortunately, the cocking lever doesn't slide. I'm sure I could design one that would, if lego made a spring piece long enough to slide it about 6 studs. I have a couple real lego pistols that have realistic slide action. All my real lego weapons have spring triggers that have a nice feel. I gave this LDD model this static trigger just for appearances.
