1938 Diamond T Engine
The Platesmouth 1938 Diamond T Engine serves in a ceremonial capacity.
About this creation

Platesmouth's 1938 Diamond T engine is their first motorized fire apparatus. Purchased new, it served well into the 60's as a front line engine before finally being replaced by a 1964 International.

This apparatus is based on the Diamond T Model 201. It has a Hercules QX Inline-6 engine and a 500 gpm pump.

The Diamond T is maintained in show condition by the older members of the Platesmouth VFD. Regretfully, the pump is no longer operational due to a lack of spare parts.
